Typical Turnaround

Standard peptide/protein conjugates: 2–3 weeks from order confirmation. Antibody conjugates and multi‑step builds may require additional time.

Lead time depends on partner source/quality, chemistry, and DoL specification; rush options may be available.

How to Order

  1. Share oligo sequence(s) and desired handles (or request design assistance).
  2. Specify partner type (antibody/protein/peptide/lipid/polymer/nanoparticle) and preferred chemistry.
  3. Choose scale, purification, and QC/functional tests.
  4. Receive a same‑day quote and projected timeline.

Supplying your own protein/antibody? Include concentration, buffer composition, and storage conditions.

  • Partner characteristics (MW, pI, buffer, reactive groups)
  • Targeted DoL and site‑selectivity (if applicable)
  • Assay context, storage buffer, and shipping conditions

FAQ

What types of oligonucleotides can you conjugate?

Single-stranded DNA, double-stranded DNA, RNA, modified oligos (e.g., 2'-OMe, LNA, phosphorothioate), aptamers, and antisense oligos.

What biomolecules or cargos can be conjugated to oligonucleotides?

Enzymes, antibodies, peptides, proteins, fluorophores, drugs, nanoparticles, polymers (PEG), lipids, and other small molecules.

What conjugation chemistries do you offer?

We offer a broad range of advanced conjugation strategies, including chemical methods (e.g., amide coupling, thiol–maleimide reactions), enzymatic techniques (e.g., enzyme-catalyzed ligations), and biosynthetic approaches (e.g., non-natural amino acid incorporation). The optimal method is selected based on the biomolecule’s characteristics and the client’s specific requirements.

Can you customize linker types and lengths?

Yes. We offer flexible linker options—alkyl, PEG, cleavable, rigid, and functionalized—to meet specific solubility, stability, or release requirements.

Do you provide site-specific conjugation?

Yes. We offer both site-specific and random conjugation options depending on the biomolecule and project goals.

How do I provide the antibody, protein, or ligand for conjugation?

You can supply your material, or we can source or produce it under controlled conditions.

What measures do you take to preserve the stability and bioactivity of your conjugated products?

Our conjugation technologies are designed to preserve both stability and bioactivity of the final products. We carefully control reaction conditions to avoid compromising the functional integrity of the biomolecules. Each conjugate undergoes rigorous quality testing to ensure it meets strict stability and performance criteria.

What QC data do you provide with the final product?

"Typically: HPLC profiles, MALDI-TOF or ESI-MS data, SDS-PAGE (for protein conjugates), UV-Vis absorbance, and functional bioassays (on request).

How do you ensure batch-to-batch consistency?

Through validated SOPs, real-time process monitoring, and strict QC release criteria using high-sensitivity analytical tools.

What is your typical turnaround time?

Standard projects: 2–3 weeks. Complex or custom chemistries may take 4–6 weeks depending on specifications and scale.

Which chemistry should I choose for my conjugate?

Match the chemistry to the available handles and the assay environment. For antibodies, maleimide–thiol (hinge or engineered Cys) and SPAAC are common; for peptides, NHS‑amine or maleimide–thiol; for surfaces, EDC/NHS or click. We can recommend an approach once we review your specs.

How do you control Degree of Labeling (DoL)?

We tune molar ratios, reaction time, and quenching, then purify by SEC/HPLC. DoL is calculated by UV‑Vis (and/or MS) and reported on the COA.

What buffers are compatible?

For NHS couplings avoid primary amine buffers (e.g., Tris) and keep pH 7.5–8.5. For maleimide–thiol, avoid excess reducing agents (use TCEP at controlled levels). We will confirm optimal buffer during scoping.

Can you source the antibody or partner for me?

Yes. We can work with customer‑supplied materials or source commercial equivalents under your approval.

What sample information do you need for supplied proteins?

Provide concentration, volume, buffer composition (salts, glycerol, detergents), presence of carrier proteins, and storage conditions. We may need to exchange buffers before conjugation.
